Hot band to play and sign

As a warm up to their appearance at this year´s Reading Festival, Funeral Party, a five-piece band from LA are plugging in for a full on electric set on Saturday, August 28 at 6.30pm in Azuza in Marlborough followed by a signing at independent record store Sound Knowledge of their newly released 7" single Just Because.

Their debut single has been given the lofty status of ´Hottest single in the world right now´ by no less an authority than Radio 1´s Zane Lowe.

Azuza and Sound Knowledge will also be playing host to Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, who is performing a set on Tuesday, September 14 from 6pm in support of his new self-titled album, released that week. His set will be followed by a signing in Sound Knowledge.

The events are free to attend - simply call in at the store at Hughenden Yard, Marlborough to pick up a ticket.

Sound Knowledge has built a regional reputation for the quality of its records and expert advice, and also for the free gigs it organises at Azuza.
