Sound Knowledge celebrates Record Store Day

Marlborough record store Sound Knowledge is participating in this year´s Record Store Day, a national event being held across the weekend of April 17 and 18 to champion independent record shops everywhere.

To celebrate the occasion an afternoon of live music will take place at neighbouring Azuza cafe bar from midday on Sunday 18th.

Artists and bands performing live include Nick Harper Jon Amor, Pineapple Thief, John Smith and Scott McKeon.

The event is free to attend - simply call in at the store at Hughenden Yard, Marlborough to pick up a ticket.

Sound Knowledge has built a regional reputation for the quality of its records and expert advice, and also for the free gigs it organises at Azuza.

Late last month, guitar pop trio Scouting for Girls played one of the stores music and signing sets – this week, they’re at number 1 in the charts.
