Networkers promised Life After Death by PowerPoint

With a couple of public speaking guides - The Useful Guide to Public Speaking and How to Give the Perfect Wedding Speech – under her belt, networkers at the first Swindon Chamber breakfast of the new year are assured of a lively presentation from their guest speaker.

Charlotte Mannion, a coach and facilitator at Quick Learn Ltd, will be talking about Life After Death by PowerPoint, and will demonstrate how to avoid the PowerPoint traps and thereby lose your audience.

"It is light hearted delivery of a very serious subject and includes tips and techniques for creating your own painless presentation which people will want to hear," says Charlotte.

“What is often surprising is everyone knows what is wrong with using PowerPoint yet they still persevere with it. I would be very rich if I had a pound for every time the presenter starts off by saying this isn’t going to be Death by PowerPoint and then proceeds to do exactly that.”
