Head of business dynasty talks at lunch

The head of a business dynasty will be the guest speaker at the Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce business luncheon on Wednesday, February 16.

H.J.Knee have been in business for over 130 years and are an embedded part of the history of Trowbridge.

The new general manager is Jonathan Knee, great,-great-grandson of Henry John Knee – founder of H.J.Knee Ltd.

Born and Educated in Trowbridge, Jonathan has travelled extensively and spent several years working in London in the investment industry.

As well as managing the family business, Jonathan is involved in the recently formed Trowbridge Initiative Group.

His talk will include a history of the company, an examination of the way independent retailers can compete against the multiples, and a look at the Trowbridge County Town Initiative.
