Minimum wage increase published

The Government has published the National Minimum Wage Regulations 1999 (Amendment) Regulations 2010, which will increase the national minimum wage as of October 1 this year, employment law expert Malcolm Gregory, of Withy King solicitors, is reminding Wiltshire businesses.

The new rates will be:
Workers aged 21 and over from £5.80 to £5.93 per hour
Workers aged between 18 and 20 will increase from £4.83 to £4.92 and
Workers aged below 18 will rise from £3.57 to £3.64 per hour
