Proposals for funding welcomed

Organisations or communities looking for financial support for initiatives that would benefit the local economy have been invited to submit bids to the partnership.

Recently, the board has agreed to spend £1,450 for an entry on Locations4Business, a website that acts as a portal for companies within and outside the UK looking to establish new business operations.

At the next board meeting the board will consider a proposal for a business-to-business conference focusing on the Portemarsh Industrial Estate in Calne.

This aims to give firms an opportunity to showcase their businesses to other companies, and develop businesses communication locally.

Partnership manager Colette Mallon said: "The board invites genuine proposals that would benefit the business communities of North Wiltshire."
