Wiltshire Business Support Service announces workshops

The newly-launched Wiltshire Business Support Service is running a series of seminars and workshops to help start-ups and small businesses in the county.

On Tuesday, April 24 the team will present a One Day Business Strategy workshop in Trowbridge from 9.30am to 4.30pm.The hands-on session promises to help attendees gain clarity and plan for success in their business for the year ahead, establishing the right direction for the upcoming year and setting the scene for greater profitability and growth.

Attendance costs £60 for Chamber of Commerce members and £80 for non-members.

On Wednesday, April 25 from 9.30am to 12.30pm the organisation will run a Write an Effective
Business Plan workshop in Devizes, which will seek to answer questions including:

• What is a Business Plan ?
• Why do I need one ?
• Who is it for ?
• What a Plan should include?
• How do I present my Business Plan?

Attendance costs £25 for Chamber of Commerce members and £40 for non-members.

And Becoming Your Own Boss, a free two-hour seminar, will be held on Thursday, April 26 in Trowbridge and will answer questions including:

• Why go into self employment ?
• What does it take to run your own business ?
• Does my idea have potential to be a business ?
• What is a business plan and do I need one ?
• Where can I get help to launch my business successfully ?
